How is marigold good for eyes?


 Marigold flowers contain lutein and zeaxanthin. Lutein filters blue light that is harmful to the retina, while zeaxanthin filters light that enters the retina and reduces reflections. protect from sun rays that is harmful to the eyes
.
  There is a study report indicating that Lutein and zeaxanthin inhibit macular degeneration. It reduces the risk and slows the progression of cataracts. and help protect the retina
.
 The dose of lutein was studied to reduce the risk of cataract and age-related macular degeneration (AMD) by ≥6 mg/day.
